Princeton Children’s Book Festival

Princeton Children's Book Festical

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! The Princeton Children’s Book Festival is just around the corner.

The Princeton Children’s Book Festival is an annual event each September at the Princeton Public Library and the Albert E. Hinds Memorial Plaza.

The Princeton community is one that loves the library and loves books. The Princeton Children’s Book Festival is a celebration of this pairing. This well-attended event continues to grow yearly and promises something for everyone. Here, you may meet your favorite author or illustrator, listen to them discuss their work, have a book autographed, or just have the opportunity to talk to them about their inspirations.

Our 2014 event featured many prestigious authors and illustrators; Jon Scieszka, Pseudonymous Bosch, Leonard S. Marcus, Wendy Mass, Bruce Coville, Raina Telgemeier and 2014 Caldecott Medal winner Brian Floca were just some of the many who were on hand.

This is a free, rain-or-shine event that offers many additional fun activities throughout the afternoon. The Princeton Children’s Book Festival is an event that should not be missed.

Here are some of the author I personally know, but there are so many other authors coming.

  3. I would love to meet Robin Newman first and foremost! Of course, it’d be a thrill to meet all the other folks, too (though I’ve already met Hazel at the NYC conference and she would be a hoot to hang out with again). 🙂
