A BASKETFUL IF EGGS

We dyed our eggs – green and blue,
sunny yellow, purple too.
And then we brought them one by one
to neighbors. It was so much fun
to see the sparkle in the their eyes
because of such a small surprise.
We learned that day, in early spring,
that kindess is a sinple thing –
that smiles and eggs can
make hearts sing.
