Free Fall Friday – Kudos and Teen Opportunity

Well, the first pages are on their way to agent Elena Giovinazzo at Pippin Properties. Check back next Friday for the results.

Here is a nice picture of Vesper Stamper (on left) in front of her illustrated storyboard. It was her first MFA illustration show at the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I am sure she was excited to show off her work in the SVA main gallery. Congratulations Vesper!

Do you know a middle or high school student in the Berkeley Heights, Mountainside, New Providence, or Summit area in NJ? This might be just the thing to get them excited about the Arts. Make sure you spread the word.

The 2015 Annual Local Teen Arts Festival

Welcome to the 43rd Annual Local Teen Arts Festival jointly sponsored by the middle and high school PTOs and PTAs of Berkeley Heights, Mountainside, New Providence and Summit, NJ. Each year, the festival offers a showcase for the artistic talents of middle and high school students in these towns by hosting a free two-day event.

Summit High School, NJ is hosting Teen Arts Festival 2015. The festival will be held on Friday, April 17th 7:00pm – 9:30pm and Saturday, April 18th 10:00am – 3:00pm.

Works ranging from photography to oil painting, vocal solos to brass bands, poetry to play excerpts, pottery to hand-made furniture and computer graphics to music videos will be on display. Over 1,400 entries are showcased at each year’s festival. Each entry and/or performance has the option to be critiqued by professionals, and each student receives personalized feedback on their work. The Festival attracts hundreds of visitors each year who come to enjoy the talents of the amazing student artists.
