This week we have a beautiful illustration from Doris Ettlinger to help inspire you to write a first page. To help encourage all of you to write something new, I am going to ask a new agent to pick four of the first pages submitted and share what they think about each. The agent will comment on what they like and what they don’t like. How well the picture relates to the text? What things are driving the story forward and what things are dragging it down and then to the bottom line: Would they read more? I will announce who the agent is on next Friday’s blog and share their responses with you on August 12th. DEADLINE: August 1st
