Opportunity: Picture Book Online Picture Book Course

The Children’s Book Academy’s Craft and Business of Writing Children’s Picture Books Course Opens For Registration Today with a Super Deluxe $100 Discount and a Bunch of Great Bonuses!

Kathy thank you for encouraging me to let your readers know about our children’s book community and the launch of our latest exciting picture book writing course.

Our Community

Today we are Opening Registration for the Craft and Business of Writing Children’s Picture Books!!! This is a super interactive, highly-mentored, time-flexible, online course with a stunning reputation for helping students write, refine and publish children’s picture books (over 360 children’s books published or contracted so far). I’m co-teaching this course with fabulous Sterling editor, Rachael Stein (AKA Rachael Stein – Girl Genius) and I’m an editor and art director at Clearfork/Spork (my nicknames are The Picture Book Whisperer and  the Fairy Godmother). The highly interactive part starts August 26th for 5 glorious weeks plus a bonus conference week but students can start some of the many free bonuses today.

In our teaching and learning community you’ll learn from Rachael and me, plus four editors and an agent joining us live (and recorded) each week gently critiquing your work to help you move forward.

In addition, five now published former students join each week to share their experiences, tips and techniques and answer any questions that might help you, passing it on for all the help that they received in the course on their publishing journeys.

Then there are the three now published former students assisting and helping you throughout the course who are pretty spectacular, along with all the lessons worksheets, and interviews with exceptional kid lit people. Plus we set our courses up to be a true community with people helping each other. So that means it’s a ton of professional attention and community support to help you write the very best picture book that you can. In addition, at the end of the course, we bring in a group of editors and agents to look at your work with an eye for acquisitions, in the form of tempting short pitches and bios that we’ve helped you massage into perfection. I love this course so very, very, much and it is such a thrill to watch students bloom and realize their dreams.

We have diversity and low-income scholarships right here honoring one of my first students, the fabulous Yuyi Morales, now a kid lit super star. http://bit.ly/YuyiMScholarships

STARTS TODAY:

We are also doing a really lovely FREE mini-course July 22-29th with now published former students, plus Rachael and I, to help you right here: http://bit.ly/PaloozaPage It should be quite fantastic!

Now if you’re ready to take advantage of the $100 super-deluxe, early-bird discount and start some of the many extra bonuses ahead of time for our flagship picture book writing course and use the time-sensitive promo code 19PBLove – just click here http://bit.ly/CBACBWPB and grab your seat. Or just head on over to the same place and take a peek. And speaking of “taking a peek” here are just some of the many books published by our former students (more will be coming).
