Illustration by Alice Feagan. Alice was featured on Illustrator Saturday.
This year, besides posting about publishers bringing new imprints to the children’s publishing industry, I posted contests and grants that benefit writers and illustrators and workshops that help them hone their skills. Also, I like to provide opportunities for writers and illustrators and taut their successes in Kudo posts. Give writers a chance to get a first page critiqued, feature published books with book giveaways, and share the book’s journey to inspire other writers and illustrator. In 2018, we gave away over 55 books. Every Saturday, I feature a talented Illustrator and show off their artwork.
So, take advantage of these features and let me know when you sign a contract, win an award, or your book cover comes out. We can do a book giveaway to promote your book. Consider writing an article about the industry or one that helps a writer or illustrator learn something new and send it to me. I will introduce you to my thousands of visitors. This coming Sunday, I’ll post detailed submission guidelines to consider.
Here are some of the highlights of 2018. Thank you to everyone who contributed, left comments, and participated.
