Children’s Publishing Industry Changes

At Macmillan Children’s, Beth Clark has been promoted to creative director for Roaring Brook Press and Farrar, Straus Children’s, while Andrew Arnold has been promoted to art director for First Second Books. Jen Keenan has joined as art director for Farrar, Straus Children’s and Roaring Brook Press. Previously, she was associate art director at Little, Brown Children’s.

At Sourcebooks Annie Berger has been promoted to senior editor, Jabberwocky and Fire imprints

Jimmy Iacobelli will join the Atria Publishing Group as art director on September 4. He was previously art director at HarperCollins.

Lauren Spiegel has been promoted to executive editor at Touchstone.

Mick Silva will join Zondervan as senior acquisitions editor for nonfiction trade books. Previously he was with Focus on the Family and Waterbrook Multnomah.

Sarah Stein has joined Harper as senior editor. Previously she was senior editor at Penguin Books.

Nicky Guerreiro has been promoted to associate editor at Little, Brown.

Annette Pollert-Morgan joins Bloomsbury Children’s as editorial director. She was editorial director at Sourcebooks Fire.

Kristine Enderle has been promoted to editorial director of Magination Press, the children’s book imprint of The American Psychological Association. Sarah Fell has been promoted to senior editor and will start acquiring and developing books.

At Workman Children’s, Pam Bobowicz joins as senior editor; previously she was with Abrams. Maria Elias joins as associate art director; previously she was with Disney Publishing Worldwide.

Katie Saunoris will join Penguin Random House Canada in the newly created position of director, communications, reporting to report to Beth Lockley, vp, marketing and communications. She was most recently manager, communications and media relations for Soulpepper Theatre Company in NYC.

Rachel Diebel has been promoted to assistant editor at St. Martin’s.

Tom Miller has joined Liza Dawson Associates as senior agent. He spent the last three years at Carol Mann Agency.
