$50,000 International Literary Award for Unpublished Work


Half The World is looking for short stories, novels and screenplays, written in English, that give a voice to the inner lives of women. Your work can be romantic; a tale of science fiction; a sensual or erotic exploration; a comic caper; a thrilling mystery or a biographical memoir.

We ask only that it gives fresh insight into the lives of women.

•Generous cash prize and global exposure
•Collaboration opportunities in multiple areas of entertainment
•Open to works across a range of genres
Deadline June 8, 2016 (The Competition closes at midnight on 8 June 2016, US Eastern Daylight Time (the “Closing Date”). 
•Competition is open to all individual persons aged 13 or older.

•Entry fee – US$20 per submission.

The annual US$50,000 cash prize will be awarded to a short story, novel or screenplay written in English, judged to have portrayed one or more well-rounded female protagonists…
