If you live in the New Hope PA area you can meet Bettelynn at Yoga in the Park. Here is the info: Ananta Creative Group is offering FREE outdoor yoga classes in July. The classes will be led by our clients (and staff!) who are certified yoga instructors. The first class will be led by Bettelynn McIlvain of Yoga Poetic and Gail Rose of Ananta Creative Group.
This is an informal practice for anyone interested in taking their fitness outdoors this summer. Find us on Sunday mornings at 9 a.m. and Tuesday evenings at 6 p.m. at Pat Livezey Park in New Hope (at the corner of Hagan and Parkside Drives). Weather permitting. Yoga in the Park will not be held in the rain!
Sundays: July 5, 12, 19 and 26
Tuesdays: July 7, 14, 21 and 28
Sara Sargent will return to Harper Children’s on July 13, in the new position of executive editor, reporting to Kate Jackson. She will acquire teen, middle grade and picture book fiction and nonfiction titles “created from or around digital and social media content. Sargent was most recently at Simon & Schuster.
At St. Martin’s, Jimmy Iacobelli has been promoted to art director.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES For FIRST PAGE CRITIQUES:
In the subject line, please write “July 2015 First Page Critique” and paste the text in the email, then attached a Word document of your first page to the email. Please make sure you include your name, the title of the piece, and whether it is as picture book, middle grade, or young adult, etc. at the top on both the email and the Word document.
Your First Page Word document should be formatted using one inch margins and 12 point New Times Roman font – double space – no more than 23 lines – only one page. Send to: kathy(dot)temean(at)gmail(dot)com.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDELINES: Your submission will be skipped over if you do not follow the directions for both the pasted email and the attached Word doc. This is where most people mess up.
DEADLINE: July 23rd.
RESULTS: July 31st.
