Agent Looking to Build List

HOLLY JOLLYwebsite

This fun December illustration was sent in from Teresa Diepenbrock. She is an established designer and illustrator who enjoys creating bright, whimsical images with lots of colors and maybe a polka dot or two. http://teresadiepenbrock.com/illustration.html

beth campbellBeth Campbell of BookEnds, LLC.

After an undergraduate career filled with publishing internships, Beth joined BookEnds as a literary assistant in September 2012. In addition to managing the office, she is constantly occupied with building her client list and working with existing BookEnds authors as the company’s rights coordinator.

Beth’s obsession with books began with a distinct fantasy flavor when she was in elementary school, and she’s happily never kicked the genre. Although she has less free time to read now, she still loves to devour fantasy, YA, and sci-fi novels whenever she has a spare moment. Other areas of interest include romantic suspense, women’s fiction, and cozy mysteries.

Beth currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and a handful of cats. Outside of reading, her personal hobbies include drawing, cooking, gaming, and spending far too much time on the Internet.

You can contact Beth at BCsubmissions@bookends-inc.com or follow her on Twitter at www.twitter.com/Campbele_E

Querying BookEnds

When querying BookEnds we ask that you send a one-page query letter in the body of the e-mail. At this stage in the submission process we will not accept or open attachments.

As a green agency, we ask that all submissions be made electronically. Snail mail queries will be answered, but only if an SASE is provided.

At BookEnds you have the opportunity to query the specific agent you think would best represent your work. To learn more about our agents and who to submit to you can read the About Us page. A brief description of each agent’s preferences and the links to contact them are provided below.

  • Jessica Faust is accepting submissions by referral only and only in women’s fiction, cozy mysteries, historical and contemporary romance, YA, and business books with a strong author platform.
  • Kim Lionetti is not currently accepting submissions. Please check back for updates on when she’ll be open for submissions again.
