Weather Related Words + Disaster List

I have discovered many of you like lists. Here is one you might want to use this one to add some weather related event to one of your scenes. There are a few other word lists on this blog:

    And I’m thinking these are the July “blown away” illustrations. They are fantastic! The rabbit cracked my up 🙂 They all reminded me of a book I recently discovered that I have to mention here. If you haven’t seen it, you really need to. I love the subject matter and the story, but the illustrations literally “blew me away!”

    Then, when I found out a film short, that was based on it, won an Academy Award, I found it on YouTube. It’s totally worth taking the 15 minutes to watch this. It’s amazing!

  6. While teaching language arts for middle schoolers, we always brainstormed (just retired so I could have time to write) lists of words related to our writing topic or general lists for descriptive/topical words. I appreciate that you are sharing these; they are indeed good sparks for ideas.
