Logo Contest Winner and Opportunity

I want to thank everyone for weighing in with their votes for this year’s NJSCBWI Logo Contest. Beth Bogert is the winner. Congratulations Beth!

Below is the bag that will be given to the faculty members at the NJSCBWI Conference in June. I just ordered them, but I may be able to add to the order if someone wants to purchase one. They would be $12.00 each.

If you are an author or illustrator and have something special that you would like to send to include in the bags to the editors, agents, and art directors, please send me an e-mail describing the item. We are not placing bookmarks or postcards in the bags, but if you are attending the conference and want to put out those type of things, we will have a Freebie Table at registration.

The logos were so good this year that it was very hard to decide on a winner and runner up, so I ordered a beach towel for each bag and asked Leeza Hernandez to pulled the logos together, so I could send it in for printing. This way everyone will be recognized and the faculty will be reminded of their design and name when ever they go to the beach. It is a 24 inch by 30 inch print in the center of the towel. If anyone would like to order a towel, you need to let me know, so I can jump on the placed order to up the number. Cost $18.

Below is what the attendees will receive when they check in at registration. Lisa Falkenstern’s Logo is on the attendee’s bag, because she took second place. Congratulations Lisa!

Talk tomorrow,

  1. Congrats, everyone! I can’t wait to get my stuff! 🙂

  2. Congratulations everyone! One more reason I can’t wait for the conference!

  3. Oh, it’s awesome! Too bad I don’t live in NJ! 🙂
