Opportunity Added to Conference Workshop

If you already sent in your registration with your choices for the New Jersey SCBWI Conference taking place in Princeton, NJ this June and didn’t sign up for the

THREE SIRENS TALK ABOUT THE SIDE ROAD TO SUCCESS session,  then you might want to reconsider.

Natalie Fischer, Agent from the Laura Bradford Literary Agency and Debut Authors Natalie Zaman, Charlotte Bennardo today decided to offer the following:

Everyone who signs up for their session will have their name put into a hat and at the end of the session 22 winners will be drawn.  What are the prizes?  Natalie and Charlotte will each critique the first five pages of six winning names (total 12).  Agent Natalie Fischer (picture to the left) will critique pick ten winners out of the hat and critique their first 3-pages.  So 22 people will score a critique without having to pay one penny more.

Plus, you will get to hear from the three Sirens on how they found each other and how they put their book on the road to success.  We will be the first to see Natalie and Charlotte’s debut book Sirenz published by Flux at the conference.

Here is a little bit about the Laura Bradford Agency:

Laura Bradford Literary is an editorial-focused agency that prefers to work closely with their authors to help build strong, sustainable careers. They believe the best author-agent relationships extend beyond making sales; in order to best serve our clients’ needs, they feel they must also be a partner, an advisor, a careful listener, a troubleshooter and an advocate.

They currently acquire fiction: Romance (historical, romantic suspense, paranormal, category, contemporary, erotic), urban fantasy, women’s fiction, mystery, thrillers, and young adult. Non fiction: Business, relationships, biography/ memoir, self-help, parenting, narrative humor.

If Laurie already has your choices and you want to add this one, then e-mail Laurie to let her know at laurie@newjerseyscbwi.com .  See you soon – June isn’t very far away.

Talk tomorrow,

Kathy
