Happy Thanksgiving

Get your notebook out.  Families can provide lots of juicy content for a future book.  Make some notes for later use.

Write down as much as you can about the kitchen, the smells, the kids, the food, the interactions between members of the family, the way they are dressed and stories told around the table.

It doesn’t matter what type of book you are writing, the day is ripe with material for a book.

Hope all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your friends and family.

Talk Tomorrow,

Kathy

  1. Stay safe, everyone! I always worry about people traveling on holidays, you know? Anyway, I have a LOT of blogs to catch up on and hope I’ll have time on Friday. You won’t catch ME out on that day! Especially here in Paramus!! lol Enjoy the turkey and stuffing!

  2. Donna,

I must be getting old, because I don’t want to go near any store on Friday. I’ll be working on trying to get the schedule for the conference done – Been working on it for weeks.

    Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving,

    • Kathy,

Even when I was young, I hated crowded malls/stores. Yuck! There are SO many better things to do with our time. And I hope you make some really good headway with the conference schedule. It’s so complex and tedious!

I hope everyone had a great day today. Traffic wasn’t fun and there were accidents everywhere today. I was grateful the ride home was smooth!

  4. Me neither. You won’t find me near any mall, tomorrow. Yuck.

Because, after a day consumed with cooking and condiments, I relish my time writing a new ms and sending out art samples. I really need time to ketchup on it. I must hoard time for myself whenever I can.

    Happy Turkey Day.

    You are amazing!
