Look at the Detailed Conference Information.   Thanks,

    • Wendy,

I love collecting words. I bet you don’t know what farding is without looking it up. You’ll enjoy it when you do.

    • Hey,

There you are. Did you see that Carolyn Yoder listed her book in her blurb about her Intensive workshop she is doing at our conference?

There are so many fun sounding words. I like Fleaflicker. Do you know what that means? You might know that one if you are a sports fan, but do you know what farding is without looking it up? I have to find a place for it in one of my books.

    • Donna,

Thanks! I just put up the second part tonight. We had a First Page Session tonight with Chris Richmond from Upstart Crow Literary and Rebecca Frazer from Source Books. Have you ever come out to a Frist Page Session?

      • Yep, Kathy, got the second list tonight and looking forward to the third! 🙂

I can’t tell you how I salivate when you send the notices about all that’s going on in the chapter. There’s that part of me that wants to consider it, but the drive is long, my car is old and I’m broke, sooooo…. I have to be selective as to what I can and can’t do. I am absolutely POsitive all this stuff is great, and I’m assuming you get to enjoy all of them (seeing as you ARRANGE all of them, I sure hope you do! lol).

How far away do you live?

  7. Kathy, it’s typically a good hour and 20 min., depending on traffic; it could be more and if things go REALLY smoothly, a few minutes less.

    • Donna,

That’s not so bad. It take me around the same amount of time to get there. Maybe we could look for someone to car pool with, so you don’t have to drive. Just trying to think of a way to get you there.

      • Kathy, you’re so sweet 🙂

It’s not just the actual driving (’cause I can typically handle that length of drive by myself), but I can’t drive as a passenger (I get car sick immediately), and it’s rare I can be in someone else’s car ’cause there’s always some sort of fragrance or chemical I can’t deal with, whether it’s new car smell (tons of chemicals!), air freshener, smoke, cleaners, etc. It’s such a nuisance. I have to drive myself and it’s the round trip that makes it far for me in one day, for health reasons (too lengthy to explain in here), one of which is dealing with all kinds of exposures during the event itself (perfumes, etc.) and having to drive back home. If it were closer, it wouldn’t be as hard for me to deal with. I REALLY wish I could come more often and I love that you care that I could! Thank you!
