Promotions at Random House & Book Illustration Course

More promotions from the Random House publishing group: Junessa Viloria is now an assistant editor at Ballantine; Angela Polidoro is an assistant editor at Bantam; Randall Klein moves up to associate editor at Bantam Dell; and Jessica Sebor is now an assistant editor at Bantam Dell.

123 BOOK ILLUSTRATION

Conducted by children’s illustrator Lena Shiffman

 

Six week course being held from 1pm – 3:30pm

Dates:  1/27, 2/3, 10, 17, 24, 3/3  

Cost:  $161 or $136 for members

This course will take you through the wonderful process of book illustration. Students will learn the different steps of illustration such as storyboards, sketching, design, finished art, deadlines and much more. This class is geared to fit both students who would like to pursue an illustrator career or for the novice student who would just love to learn something new and have fun in the process. The instructor will supply text and a material list at first class, but students are welcome to bring their own text if they like.
