Three YA’s Contracted This Week

Nova Ren Suma’s IMAGINARY GIRLS, a story of two sisters, their strong bond, and the dead body that threatens to break it was sold to Julie Strauss-Gabel at Dutton Children’s, at auction, for publication in Summer 2011, by Michael Bourret at Dystel & Goderich Literary Management (NA).

A.C. Arthur’s MYSFYTZ Book 1, in which kids with supernatural powers band together and call themselves the MYSTFTZ, to Evette Porter at Kimani, in a two-book deal, for publication in 2010, by Christine Witthohn at Book Cents Literary Agency.

Author of HEARTS AT STAKE and HAUNTING VIOLET, Alyxandra Harvey’s BLOODFEUD about an aristocratic teenage survivor of the French Revolution-turned-vampire faces the ultimate test 200 years later confronting the evil British lord who left her to die; followed by HUNT THE DAY, in which a girl just wants to get through her last year at the secret Helios-Ra vampire hunter academy, but to do so, she’ll have to betray her best friend, date a vampire, and possibly take down the entire league, all before graduation; and STOLEN, again to Emily Easton at Walker, by Marlene Stringer of the Stringer Literary Agency (World).
