I want to bring everyone attention to “Just the Facts, Ma’am” a new Children’s Writing Blog focused on delivering news. It is run by Laurie Wallmark, Assistant Regional Advisor of the New Jersey Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. Her tag line is, “All News, No Schmooze.” I like it and wish I had been a little more creative in my title and no tag line. For all of us who know Laurie, I am sure you will join me in wishing her good luck with the blog. It is very hard to keep up with what is going on in the industry, when you are a busy writer. Laurie and I are trying to share the things we discover and Laurie’s blog should help with that task of keeping up on what is going on in the industry. Please check it out and remember how important it is to leave a comment. http://lauriewallmark.blogspot.com

Thanks for the link, Kathy. I know we both feel that is important for our fellow writers to be educated about both the craft and the business of children’s book writing. I look forward to hearing from all my SCBWI friends. Laurie

Already have Laurie on my own blogroll, thanks!
Laurie does have a great tag line, but you can always adjust yours – it’s not set in stone!

Yum! “blogroll” sounds like it should be Beef, Lettuce, Onion, Gravy–on a roll. (What?! I ate dinner early, and now I’m hungry again.)
And Laurie, while you are one of my favorite people on this planet, I think I just proved I’m not a good candidate reader for your site.
What were we talking about again?

BTW, I was totally joking–of course I read Laurie’s blog. It’s awesome! (And, a hot blogroll with a side of potato salad isn’t bad, either.)
