Bio:  Caroline is an Associate Editor at Wendy Lamb Books, an imprint of Random House Children’s Books, which specializes in middle grade and young adult fiction. She started her editorial career in 2004 at Henry Holt for Young Readers and worked on a wide range of books, from pre-school picture books through fiction and non-fiction for older readers, before moving to Wendy Lamb books at Random House in July of 2007.  Recent WLB titles that reflect her taste include How to Build a House by Dana Reinhardt; First Light by Rebecca Stead; Would You by Marthe Jocelyn; and Night of the Howling Dogs by Graham Salisbury. Other authors published by WLB include Christopher Paul Curtis, Patricia Reilly Giff, Donna Jo Napoli, Elizabeth Winthrop, and Walter Dean Myers. Caroline is seeking to acquire novels with nuanced characters, multi-layered stories, and unique voices. She particularly enjoys adventure/mystery, reality-based fantasy, voice-driven YA, humor, and historical fiction.

  2. I’ve been teaching my students to look for good books not only based on author but through editors as well. I’m having trouble finding an easily accessible list of book published by Wendy Lamb.
