If you are a debut author or illustrator with your first children’s or teen book coming out in 2009 or beyond, you need to get your book up on Authorsnow.com. They claim to be the largest collaboration of debut children’s and teen book authors and illustrators. Your publisher must be part of the CWIM or CBC at the time of application to become a member. Membership is free, so I can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t want to become a member and get your book up on their site.
I checked out Cyn Balog and Albert Borris, two authors I know who are listed on Authors Now and the nice thing is that an author or illsutrator can put up their information, so a school could contact them if they were interested in having them come visit. Albert has done a great job in getting all his information up for the public. Take a look: http://www.authorsnow.com
Albert’s website: http://www.albertborris.com
Cyn’s website: http://cynbalog.com/
Let me know if this information is helpful. Thanks! Kathy
I see you love to read. Looking for a great book?
I would like to invite you to read my new fantasy novel, “Gateway to DreamWorld.” It has received rave reviews and has a shot at becoming a movie.
It has just been listed on Amazon.com and Barnes&Nobles.com
I would love to get your review of my first novel.
